A member of our team will come out and discuss the food waste needs of your business and evaluate your site for collections logistics.

We recommend the number of bins needed, propose a collection schedule based on the approximate volume your business expects to generate and provide a written proposal for service that outlines the cost.

Once approved, bins are dropped at the agreed upon location and an “in-service” date is set.

  • The ReMix Organics Company can accept all organic waste (fruit and vegetable residuals, grains, meat, dairy, etc.), but cannot accept any non-compostable items (including plastics, glass, metal, styrofoam, or chemicals). ReMix Organics Company also cannot accept any compostable PLA products, including compostable trash bags, cold cups, or cutlery.

  • We request that our collection partners establish a clear system for keeping potential contamination out of compost Toters and provide training for their staff on organics separation and identification of the yellow COMPOST ONLY Toters. ReMix Organics Company staff are available to assist with training if needed. These steps will help ensure minimal contamination of material collected.
